More hopeful Saturday

I just wrote all that sad song stuff and then read THIS about a giant hero named Ron Borowski giving an elderly woman an incredible birthday gift.  We should all try to be as kind as this motorcycle dude.

    After discovering you on CNN a while back (in the age of your David Gergen infatuation), I began checking your Notblog periodically and read several pieces from your Archives.     Not gonna lie, when I first looked at this I thought it said some guy gave an old lady as a gift. Like a stripper in a cake but I guess she’d jump out of like a hard candy or something. I heard you on the Moth podcast because like any other 14 year old teenage girl I was getting in trouble for blasting NPR at like 2 in the morning. I don’t know if you’ve heard radiolab but I’ll probably listen to that the rest of the night because after reading your brooch post I don’t think I’ll be able to sleep for like a year. Friggin creepy. Brooches are for like old lady buttercotch strippers. So yeah I saw this blog and and hearing the story I decided I should send a comment your way while I had it in front of me’. Thanks!

    Sooooo I just saw ur performance on C.C.
    I thought u were pretty good. Not Lisa L. Raunchy,but it was around noon here in houston so maybe it was just super edited. But, you’re significantly better looking than her so I guess it all works out. Cosmo joke was ehh. Pig jokes were funny. And I prefer landing strip to the boy short pubes!!!!

    The world is a huge ball of mostly ugly. Stupid people doing bad things and bad people doing stupid things. I was just watching the video of the Vancouver riot that preceded the now famous “kiss” picture and was disturbed by just how ridiculously and unnecessarily brutal the attack on that poor couple was which eats away little bits of my faith in humanity. This story helped put a couple bits back.
