Love at first sight? You are a romantic! We need more people in the world like you! I agree with you, it truly is a wonderful song. I was once so inspired by it I moved from coast to coast to be with the one I loved. Even if others chide you about being brashly impulsive, you can never go wrong in listening to your heart. Another song I’m compelled to listen to at this time is (Just Like) Starting Over, by John Lennon. Though its not considered christmasy, we’re about to start a new year, so I think there’s a definite connection & relevance there. Now purists may quibble & even argue that its sentiment about going off alone together doesn’t properly embrace the spirit of communal sharing (whether its its around the dinner table, piano, fireplace or tv) that is the keynote of the christmas season & all I can say to that is: bbbllllphhhwww….tough noogies. I like it. In fact, I think I’ll put it on again….
