Bay Buchanan, 360 Buzzkill
I will admit I’m watching entirely too much CNN. The reasons range from election obsession to work procrastination to avoidance of specific other thoughts. The point is, I need my 360. My Coop, my Roland, and of course the Gerg. These people are my cake and ice cream (the cake and ice cream in addition to my actual cake and ice cream.)
The problem: in recent days they have had on this bespectacled, fart voiced Repuppetcan named Bay Buchanan. She is sandwiched in between Gergen and Roland and she is killing all of us. I understand the need for a Republican voice in the discussion, because good television is about differing viewpoints, but surely, surely, there must be someone more tolerable than this Fucking Idiot. I wish I could call her something other than that, but really, she is a Fucking Idiot who does not deserve to be on my ice cream show. She is credited as the “former senior advisor to Mitt Romney” which is, I think, the lamest credit I have ever seen. It seems she was the treasury secretary under Reagan, which is a combination of terrifying and baffling. She is a Nonsense Babbler. An Intelligence Sucker. A Fun Gobbler.
The point is: she’s killing my 360 buzz. She’s taking the bright red AC balloon out of my hand and letting it go. Good for Roland Martin for literally laughing in her face when she actually called Barack Obama a socialist.
Also, I hate her blue glasses. I hate them. It’s like plastic scaffolding placed over her face while construction workers attempt to renovate her feather brain. Boo.

your gergen-fever reminds me of my affection for rachel maddow. I could listen to her scare the shit out of me with voter fraud and defense budgets all night long. everytime i hear bay buchanan it sounds like she’s gargling rusty nails and jack daniels.

good name for a republican though. sounds like cannon. violent names fit republicans. Dick Army is another one. McCain, as in killed his brother Abel. Palin. death’s horse was pale. Reagan, sounds like what an alien would use to kill you. Cheney, evokes Dickensian images of ghosts wrapped in chains.

I think Bay is so entertaining.. I love her sticking up for Sarah Palin because it is udderly ridiculous and she probably knows it. One of my favorite quotes of hers was” that was an excellent answer” in reference to some of the gobbledygook that Palin spewed at Katie Couric.
I also share your love for David Gergen. Every time he’s on I say to my husband, “he’s my favorite.. I love him” Your thing on CNN cracked me up. it was way cute.

She is the most narrow minded republican mouthpice puppet aside from Bill O’Reily.
Her views are riddiculous as she backs the repblican party no matter what they do or have done.
She is a pundit minus the “it”.
Unfertunately she makes my blood boil and deters me from watching the gerg etc… from time to time.
